This Summer in the UK has definitely been one to remember so far, with the weather being the hottest in at least 15 years. This, of course, has been fantastic for those of us who choose to holiday in the UK, with more and more families staying put, rather than flying off to foreign shores to sun themselves.
One of the most popular types of modern holiday in the UK is to get out into nature, rent a lodge in the middle of nowhere and enjoy the tranquillity. What if you could bring the forest back with you?
These remarkable and exquisite marble surfaces are some of the most breath-taking when you see them in person. They are stunningly beautiful works of natural art and truly give the impression of the veins of leaves and the branches of trees, stretching out across a canvas of marble.
All three of these materials are quarried in India, in the same quarry but from different areas, which is why different variation of tones can be achieved.
The typical use of this extremely decorative marble is for signature piece such as decorative console tables, feature walls and fireplaces. However you can also see it used in bathrooms and as flooring to great effect. Being a fairly soft material, we wouldn’t recommend it for the Kitchen unless treated but, as always, we would recommend seeking the advice of a stone mason on this, just to be sure.
Currently in stock we have all three variations in a polished finish. Along with this, we have the Forest Brown in a brushed finish, which really brings an extra dimension to the texture in the stone.
Sizes we have at time of writing are approx. 3m x 2m and in a 20mm thickness. You can check the stock for yourself HERE for an update.
