This week we are focusing in on some materials that are prominently grainy in appearance, giving them a rough and rugged look that could be ideal for exterior decoration, as well as for adding a true natural element to any design.
In a previous post, this granite was described as a “feast for the eyes” and I stand by that description. The Bianco Antico is an impressive mixture of browns, whites, and creams that explode from the surface of the stone. The sharp edges and large grains of the minerals composing this granite give it an impressive crystalline look.
We have stock of Bianco Antico in a 30mm thickness at the time of writing. Slab sizes are approximately 3.5m x 2m.
Finer in grain than the Bianco Antico, the White Topazio is a beautiful, light stone composed mainly of browns, on a sandy coloured canvas. Being another granite, this stone can be used inside or out, being a safe choice as kitchen worktops and even as flooring or exterior paving.
Get in touch for more on this material. We have slabs in stock in a 30mm thickness at approx. 3m x 2m in size.
This green quartzite stands out for its notable, large quartz crystals. These are interlaced with smaller, grainier sections of the stone. As opposed to a marble like Verde India, the green here is fairly subtle throughout, with it being more intense in the darker patches. We wouldn’t necessarily recommend a quartzite for flooring, as it can be slightly more delicate than a typical granite for example, however this stone would look great utilized as work surfaces or on walls.
We hold stock of Emerald Green in 20mm thickness at this time, with slabs around 3m x 1.5m in size. If interested in finding out more please do give us a call or drop us a message online.
