Welcome back to our new feature, where we will introduce you to just a few of the most unique stone materials we have had arrive at the warehouse recently.
Whether it is marble, granite, limestone or quartzite we aim to introduce you to new materials, which you otherwise may not have heard of.
The first stone this week, the Areti, is an absolutely stunning white marble, with a subtle and sleek white surface, with faint grey veining. A possible alternative to a more traditional carrara or calacatta marble, this stone would look perfect as part of a clean, modern kitchen or bathroom design.
At the time of writing, MGLW have plenty of slabs in stock, available in a 20mm thickness. You can see an up to date account of our stock online here.
Next up is a granite, a real feast for the eyes, the Bianco Antico. The mixture of browns and cream here fissure their way across the surface of this stone, which makes for an impressive sight. As a typical granite, this stone would be another sound choice for a kitchen worktop.
At the time of writing MGLW have several slabs available in 30mm thickness, 20mm can be ordered in if this is preferable. You can see an up to date account of our stock, along with images, online here.
The third stone here, in this Stone Focus, is our magnificent Zebrano. I don’t need to go into why this is such an impressive marble, the picture above is all the evidence you need. I love the name of Zebrano, which really gives life to the movement of the wavey black and white stripes. They say that mother nature is the greatest artist and upon seeing this material in person, there aren’t many that could argue with that.
MGLW have slabs available in both 20mm at the time of writing and you can see our stock online here.
