Don't worry, this isn’t another article about that controversial dress that became an internet phenomenon in 2015. It’s time for a bit of stone bling in this edition of Stone Focus, as we look at some golden limestone, the Antique Gold and some beautiful blue marble in the Calcita Blue, along with the impressive Blue Mare quartzite.
Gold is not a common colour in natural stone around the world, so it is nice when you find whole slabs of it. This golden, cream coloured limestone is one that can be used in any room, with it being a popular choice for flooring.
If you would like more details this stone is in stock now, so just let us know.
The Blue Mare is an instantly striking quartzite, also featuring veins of gold and brown, this time on top of an ocean blue background.
This material is quarried in Brazil and can vary in the ratio of blue to gold in the stone. However, with it being such an intensely striking stone, it would definitely be a stand out feature whatever the combination and wherever you decided to use it.
We have some 20mm thick Blue Mare in stock here at the time of writing, so get in touch for more details.
These slabs only arrived at the MGLW warehouse last month and there is no doubt they are a thing of beauty. Calcita Blue marble is a gorgeous blend of blues, whites and greys. I think that this kind of material would suit a bathroom environment perfectly but would also be an attractive option for flooring and wall decoration anywhere, due to its naturally complimenting tones.
We have slabs in stock in both 20mm and 30mm thicknesses. Drop us an email or give us a call for more information.
