There have been some sensational Summer arrivals at the MGLW warehouse of late, including some mainstays in stone design and some interesting new materials.
We have featured a number of our new blocks of stone in our Stone Focus feature, which you can also read on our blog here. However, I am glad to say there is a lot more to talk about. If you haven’t seen our new slabs of the Rosso Alicante, Port Laurent or Lilac then I highly recommend taking a read of the latest edition.
Speaking of being highly recommended, our new block of Rosa Aurora is an eye-catching addition to our warehouse this month. This beautiful, bright, salmon pink marble would make a great bathroom interior, with the light tones being easy on the eye able to brighten up a space that can be typically the smallest in the house.
Another bright marble that has arrived this month is the Calacatta Bluette. These attractive, light blue and cream slabs, from Italy, have a mix of grey, black and dark blue veining. The way in which the colours mesh into each other creates the impression of a water colour painting. I can imagine a talented designer could concoct some wonderful, expressionist inspired décor with this stone.
